Sámi Bedtime Story for Deep Sleep 🌙 The Reindeer Bell

About this story

Under the aurora in Sápmi, a boy hears a single far-off bell and follows it through the polar night.

This is a bedtime story for deep sleep — a gentle retelling of folklore, designed to help you let go of the day. Like all our stories, nothing frightening happens. Nothing is left hanging. Everything is resolved by the end, because you are not meant to stay awake for the next part.

This story is part of The Sky That Breathes, set in Sápmi. A dusk that never quite ends, and green light moving overhead like something breathing in its sleep.

The pacing is slow and warm, around 120 words per minute — slower than anyone has spoken to you all day. A raven crosses the sky early in the story, and near the end it settles somewhere with its wings folded. That is how you know.
